The Smart Horizons Infant/Toddler programs are designed for those individuals seeking to meet the training requirements for a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in the Infant/Toddler setting.

The Infant/Toddler Educator Certificate program consists of 125 hours of instruction and awards 12.5 continuing education units (CEUs). The Infant/Toddler Educator Advanced Certificate program consists of 145 hours of instruction and awards 14.5 CEUs. The Infant/Toddler Educator Advanced Certificate program also features step-by-step guidance and review to assist students in the development of the program’s Professional Resource File.
To enroll in either program, students must be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED; must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English; must have access to a computer, printer, and Javascript-enabled Web browser; and must have a valid e-mail address. Microsoft Office or Word programs are not required as all writing assignments are done in Smart Horizons’ state-of-the-art Learning Management System, Nexport.
Cost for the Infant/Toddler Educator Certificate program is $ 219. Cost for the Infant/Toddler Educator Advanced Certificate program is $ 699.
