Red Ribbon Resources Announces Winner of Annual Red Ribbon Week Contest is Virginia Elementary School

Woodbury, NY (PRWEB) October 11, 2011

Today Red Ribbon Resources shipped 1500 red ribbons and 1000 pencils featuring anti-drug slogans to Woodley Hills Elementary School in Alexandria, VA. The school was chosen from a list of over two thousand customers of NY-based Red Ribbon Resources, a company specializing in drug awareness event celebration materials.

Thousands of schools and organizations across the U.S. participate in Red Ribbon Week celebrations. The events are designed to raise awareness of the dangers of alcohol and drugs, and encourage prevention and early intervention. Each school creates its own plan of events including assemblies, games, classroom discussions, and more. Various items are used to spread the anti-drug message like water bottles, banners, silicone bracelets, and of course red ribbons.

Red Ribbon Resources is a brand of The Guidance Group.
