Prospective Student Open House at Anthem College-Phoenix

Persons interested in studying to work in an allied health, computer security, or veterinary technology field are invited to attend an Open House at Anthem College-Phoenix next Wednesday, January 18, from 9 am to 8 pm. The College is located at 1515 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix, just west of State Route 51.
“We want to begin 2012 with a strong, positive message about the value of education,” says Campus President James Hadley, PhD. “Phoenix, along with all other Anthem Education campuses, is waiving application fees for new students through January 18.”
Anthem College opened a new dental assistant lab in 2010, and updated the equipment in its Pharmacy Technology lab as well. The campus also houses a separate veterinary technology training facility for students working toward the Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology.
“Anthem is different,” Hadley says. “Our students are different from traditional college students. Many of them have families, jobs, or both. So we have class schedules that work with them, not against them, offered in different sessions during the day and in the evenings. This way, our students have more flexibility to maintain their personal responsibilities, whether it’s a job or caring for family members.”
“We also teach our programs one class at a time, typically over a four-week period, to let students focus on learning and not cram for exams,” Hadley added.
Anthem College offers the following programs:
Computer Networking & Security (Diploma and Associate of Science)
Dental Assisting (Diploma)
Medical Assistant (Diploma and Associate of Science)
Paralegal (Associate of Science)
Pharmacy Technology (Diploma)
Veterinary Technology (Associate of Science)
The Veterinary Technology program has provisional accreditation from the American Veterinary Medical Association. The College is accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges & Schools.
