The Society For Financial Awareness announces it’s official kick-off to launching this years “Celebrate Financial Literacy” Campaign. As of March 2011, United States President, Barack Obama declared April as National Financial Literacy Month. With many Americans in a serious state of financial instability, SOFA is running a national campaign to spread awareness of financial literacy month and arm every community with valuable tools to provide to adults and adolescents in an effort to provide on-going generic financial education for free. SOFA will be hosting a series of events throughout the nation and today is the official kick-off!
SOFA is a Non-Profit Educational Speaker’s Bureau that provides speakers nationally for businesses, churches, synagogues, civic organizations, city and county governments as well as other non-profit organizations. SOFA’s mission is to end financial illiteracy one community at a time, by conducting generic financial education workshops across the country.
SOFA is currently seeking professionals whom practice as Accountants, Estate Planning Attorneys, Health Care or Wellness Practitioners, to help educate communities on such pertitnent financial topics. By conducting these workshops, SOFA helps it’s members to build and strengthen their practices by positioning them as content experts available for speaking engagements on a pro-bono basis where the members will be presenting one on group to audiences of interested and qualified listeners.
SOFA is making a concerted effort to help more professionals in the fields of law; health care and accounting build their practices, by giving back to their communities while providing needed education to grateful audiences. America needs content on these topics as health concerns and legal issues are at an all time high. SOFA is looking to further it’s mission of eliminating financial illiteracy in America and needs dedicated and qualified professionals interested in growing their practices and helping their communities to do so.
Financial Literacy Month is quickly approaching and SOFA is looking to take the nation by storm, working to embolden the public to take charge of their finances and will be distributing new content and resources for companies, churches, and organizations for free in Celebration Financial Literacy Month in April.
