AthleticScholarships.org Men’s Tennis Recruiting Guidelines Reveal Stats for High Level Recruits

Austin, TX (PRWEB) January 19, 2012

AthleticScholarships.com, a leading provider of college recruitment information and athletic scholarship statistics, has just released in-depth men’s tennis recruiting guidelines for Division I, II and III schools. The guidelines are an overview of what tennis organizations and coaches consider to be the ideal statistics for high level, 5 star recruits. Players that meet one or more requirements will very likely still generate interest among men’s tennis coaches and recruiters.

It’s critical for players and their parents to understand that evaluating prospective athletes isn’t an exact science and some factors cannot be measured. However, Rick McDole, Director of Recruiting Operations at NCSA Athletic Recruiting Network, pointed out that, “players who earn the most attention from division one schools appear to dominate the high school level on film and physically they appear to be capable of playing with bigger, stronger and faster competition.” The guidelines provided are meant to assist student athletes in better preparing themselves for the recruitment process and increase their odds of securing a spot on a college tennis team.

The guidelines were developed using data provided by a number of sources, including college tennis coaches from around the country, hundreds of student-athletes who have participated in men’s tennis and college rosters. The purpose of analyzing the data was to identify the model stats for tennis players that are chosen to compete at the collegiate level.
